Default Sky Coverage 2009 Season? - 13-Jan-2009, 08:00 AM

Have we received any confirmation yet Sky will be back again next season. Isnt the contract at a end after this season or are they tied in for next season also??

Apparently we all understood it was a 4 year contract but we've since found out it was only 2 years which is up at the end of this season. Id be staggered if Sky wasnt back....and probably with better coverage, maybe an extra game on the red button and hopefully HD for all games not just play offs. Its in the NFL's interests with more Wembleys games to come

No one knows for sure but Sky will be back. There won't be any less games overall either. I see the only real changes in perhaps a new FTA broadcaster or no FTA viewing. Also the NFL network may start broadcasting and ESPN America may gain some rights for NFL live etc.

There will continue to be FTA coverage because the NFL wants it, but there is unlikly to be live games FTA, but delayed complete game coverage with no analysis is a possibility.

my comment was not a political one: I was clearly comparing the two, and their mutual troubles with our glorious language.

surely there is another thread or forum for your politics?

because i don't want to &*^%ing hear it.

I came here to football.

if i wanted to jabber about politics i would go elsewhere.

thank you kindly.
