What does the tablet move really do other than add a few more $$$ to the Microsoft surface deal?

Oh so that's why so many fieldgoal and PAT where blocked last year because the leap is such an easy play and the defender cant be stopped, think someone pointed out there where more players injured celebrating TD's than been hurt by a leaping player.the end to the Broncos @ Saints last year was great and it was down to great coaching by the Denver special teams and great execution by the players but fans wont see that kind of play anymore.

Think Bruce Arians basically hits the nail on the head here:

The fact that the vote to ban leaping passed by 32-0 pretty much says it all...

The proposal to put the ball at the 20yd line if the kicker puts it through the uprights got 11 votes......so a no go.

Also, the proposal to shorten overtime to 10minutes was also tabled.
Anything on allowing teams to use more than one coloured helmet? I remember reading it was going to be discussed but can't find anything on the outcome, and I miss our throwbacks.

think the Eagle's withdrew 4 of there 5 suggestions and sure the helmet idea was one of them.nothing on the Redskins wanting to opt-out of colour rush either.

so yes looks like no "pat the patriot" again next year.

the league say it will save time on replay but really just means the league office will make the call fully on there own and the official on the field will just have to watch the replay angle's they pick and then announce there decision.

wonder what happens in the early window if there are multiple challenges at the same time.the league has said there will be 3 people qualified to make calls, better not have 4 incidents at once then.

NFL Hall of Famer and network analyst Michael Irvin arrested on suspicion of sexual assault. He's denying everything. Hope this isn't true as I enjoy watching Irvin and the others on Game Day Morning.
