I don't hate the pick of Williams. I'm not in love with it but don't mind it at all

We definitely needed to get a WR and maybe the depth just wasn't there to pick anyone up later in the draft. If Keenan goes down again we have Williams who had a great season and still developing as the WR2 so I agree don't hate the pick up.

Certainly should have plenty of chances for a few TDs this season.

Definitely happy with the Offensive Line pick ups of Lamp and Feeney. Hopefully with Tuerk back in the mix and Okung if he can stay healthy with Slauson who had a great first season we can start to shore up that OL.

Another Latavius Brown over the weekend would also come in handy!! I think we will almost certainly pick up a QB at some point in the draft.

For me that draft was very good for 2 1/2 days and meh for the last part.
6th and 7th rounders are always just a bonus if they add anything much I guess though.
Williams - wasn't that bothered about getting a WR beforehand but with Allens injury record and the lack of WR on long term contracts it does make a lot of sense.

Lamp - Like most over people over the moon with this pick. First round talent 38th pick and a lot of peoples best O-lineman in the draft.

Feeney - for most people a second round talent in the third so again got to be happy. Hopefully with these two picks, Okung in FA and Tuerk taking off the red shirt along with Slauson, Rivers finally has an O line he can rely on. Seems like Barksdale is on notice its time to step up and Franklin is on borrowed time.

Jenkins - a total Bradley pick.

King - most people saw him as a 3rd rounder so got to be happy with that.

Tevi - Doubt a 6th rounder takes Barksdales job - but then he was pretty bad last year. Hopefully he cuts down on the flags this year.

Rochell - Think I would have preferred an edge player to give depth to Bosa & Ingram, especially if we don't get Ingram signed up long term.

UDFA zero clue.

Next year take a QB and sit him for a year behind Rivers? Or does Rivers play on longer if things go well with a nice comfort blanket in front of him.

5 of the rookies including Lamp & Williams signed up. That's one speed hump avoided.
Just Feeney and Jenkins to go

Yeah great news that. Had to avoid another saga like last year plus needed to get Williams in early to build a rapport with Rivers

Franklin released. Still have to pay him 3.5 million but saves 3 million against the cap.

Can't say I'm surprised or bothered.

Be interesting to know what their plan is for the oline.

Okung Lamp Slauson Feeney Barksdale

Okung Lamp Tuerk Feeney Barksdale

Okung Slauson Lamp Feeney Barksdale

Or one of the other varieties!

Something to keep an eye on during the summer

I wouldn't mind:

Okung-Slauson-Tuerk-Feeney-Lamp for now, depending on how far along Tuerk is.

Pretty sure Lamp has played a fair bit at tackle. Would be harsh to dump Slauson out the team as he was our one good O-lineman last year but I guess he's getting no younger.

Reports are Williams has had a second epidural and is feeling better but likely to start camp on PUP and real concerns he will need surgery to fix the issue meaning he'll miss the whole season.

This is the chargers. Of course he will end up needing surgery and missing the season. Wonder whether he had this injury at the combine and hid it or really did it on the 1st day?

Either way, so it begins ey!?
