Great show, looking forward to it's return later this year.
Great show, shame we have to wait until Halloween for season 2...

Really I thought it would be a lot sooner than that since they released the trailer last week.

this years homeland started a bit slowly and the Quinn stuff seemed headscratching but now getting going and rather topical with the new president side story.

It was intriguing, strange, confusing and odd in equal measures. I think I've just about got it straightened out.

A really strange 60s vibe to everything whilst having more modern technology as well. I know it is a comic adaptation but all those Pink Floyd-esque tape loops in the backing track plus the female lead being called Syd(ney) Barrett got me wondering if it isn't all some sort of LSD trip. The girl embedded in the wall was rather neat though.

Just watched the first legion also very confused by what was going on but it looked great and the escape scene was awesome. The story will work itself out when I've seen more episodes no doubt.

They need a new bad guy though because the menacing one who doesn't talk reminds me too much of Moxy from Auf Wiedersehen Pet

Watched a couple of episodes of the new series and then thought "I don't really care what happens now". There is only so many times she can convince them she is not actually working for the FBI when she is.

Or is she?

Well, I don't care.

Couldn't make it through the first episode of Legion. I like a bit of weird TV, Twin Peaks for example was superb (bit wary of what the new series will be like) however just could not get my head around this one.

Watched the first few episodes of the Lethal Weapon TV show because I like the Wayans family and I've got to say it could be a lot worse than it is.

Arrow American TV series

THE MESSENGERS (2015) – 5/10 (Worth Watching)

Series - 1 / Episodes - 13 (no S2 - show cancelled)

I only got into this show by accident as it was loaded up on a streaming site under the title of another show I was looking for and took me an episode or two to realise this was for sure not the show I had thought I was meant to be watching. However I kind of got into it so decided to stick with it and sort out it's real name and now kind of sad it was canned as it leaves much scope for a follow up season with many unfinished plot threads and some just starting in the final 13th episode. Basically it all starts with a mysterious object crashing on earth (naturally somewhere in the USA) and a group of unconnected strangers dying from an energy pulse it emits, but then moments later they re-awaken to find out slowly that they have been deemed responsible for preventing the impending Apocalypse on Earth and chosen as the Angels of the Apocalypse to stave it off and justify that humans are worth saving to God.

Yeah no way would I have watched it on that plot synopsis but by not knowing what I was watching made me give it a fair crack and found it actually worked and was enjoyable enough to stick with.
