I'm not a fantasy fan usually. I bought this book in Manchester Airport to pass our 10 hour delay. It's like high hundreds of pages long so was big considering I only bought it to pass the time. Thought it was going to be fantasy rubbish, badly written book just for fantasy nerds.

Actually it was genuinely the best book I've ever read and had it not been so long and wrecked I probably would have read it twice

Highly recommend this book. It is a story BTW not a fake history book or the like.

I liked them both, voices his opinion, and as I've seen him on TV, when you read something, you know exactly how he is saying it, tone of voice etc. Very funny IMO, good reads.

'The Lost Continent' by Bill Bryson. He's by far my favourite author and this is my favourite book. I've read it six times and still love ever chapter! ;D
