The Premiership bores fans of English clubs who aren't in it. I notice that an usually high percentage of the latest wave of the multicultural society in NW londonium support Chelsea. It will be an interesting and novel cultural experience to welcome an influx of Man City supporters :

So does our stupid division. We already have a thread for this. I'd ask the Mods to merge this, but they can't. Hahaha.

Anyway, as a matter of fact I'll be watching the top of the Prem with renewed vigour to see if Manchester Citeh really can usurp one of the top four. I think it's better that we have 5 big teams than the same old four.
I won't care, because of the way they done it. Nothing to do with anything they did right. Just the fact they got bought out by a load of filthy-rich Arabs.
I care in the sense that Manchester is too close to Bradford for comfort ;D

I've never really particularly liked Keegan in the past but I do actually sympathise with him a little in this case. If it's true that Wise has been responsible for all the dealings and he's not been able to get involved, I'm not surprised he's annoyed.

In his interviews you can always see the frustration in his face, I don't think he quite thought this is what he was getting himself in for. When he admitted last season that the club would never break the top four, I thought it was quite a bold thing for a manager to do. It was almost as if he was telling Mike Ashley directly that he's having a laugh if that was his goal - essentially he was the only man working for them who had a realistic outlook on the club and their future, unlike the board and a lot of the fans.

To be honest if he does end up leaving it will just make the club look like an ever bigger laughing stock, and that's nothing to do with Keegan. Surely Dennis Wise is the only man in the world who could possibley take up the job now, and even then I wonder how long before he's made the puppet.

What a great day i'm having in work surrounded by skunks - the Dennis Wise panic is realy setting in ;D ;D

True, but if you want to go down that route, only Arsenal and to a lesser extent, Man Utd's success was built, Chelsea bought theirs and Liverpool fluked a win the CL, and haven't improved since.
I strongly-dislike Liverpool and Chelsea.

- Chelsea are as charmless as a new-money City-Boy 'largin' it' in a London bar.

- Liverpool have no concept of team-building, and seem to just buy and sell players almost at random - going back all the way to Souness.
WOAH WOAH WOAH!!
Now as a loyal member of Fergie's army, no-one has a deep seated disliking of the scousers than I.......but to say Liverpool have no idea of team-building isn't right.
I'm with you on Chelsea, they'be bought their success and only John Terry has come through their ranks.

Liverpools recent successes have been built around Michael Owen, Steven Gerrard, Steve McMananman, Jamie Carragher....and historically have ALWAYS given their youth players a chance to shine. Recently you've got people like Warnock, Mellor, Wright and more all given their chance in the spotlight and they just didn't turn out. Liverpool & United are the only members of the big 4 that can say they've achieved what they have based on a youth system......for that you have to give them credit.

Now if you'll excuse me i'm going to go throw up and then wash my mouth out with soap and water!

Over the last few years i've grown to despise Newcastle, so find this whole situation quite funny.

I'm sorry but I can do nothing else but laugh. I do genuinely feel for the toon fans as they're a loyal and passionate bunch and deserve better than the crap they get fed on a regular basis.

Having said that, why do you expect anything else from Keegan?? He's a quitter.....plain and simple. When the going gets tough or something doesn't go to his liking he's off quicker than Usain Bolt!
Keegan seems to think he's playing Championship Manager....if he doesn't have any money to spend then he's not interested. A football manager isn't just about buying and selling, its about making do with what you've got.

I understand that expectations might be unrealistic, but you have to ride that out and do what Sven did at City, which is ride it out and make the boos unfairly sack you.
But no instead Keegan walks yet again and leaves yet another football team in limbo.....the only thing more baffling is that some Geordies are outside the ground protesting against Ashley and chanting Keegans name!!!! They should be pelting Keegan with rotten Veg!!

Reports that Moyes is the favourite.

Moyes would have to have a frontal lobotomy before that happens.

Wise would never be accepted.

Shhhhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrraaaaa will want to stay in the MOTD studio

so who else?

Rijkaard - Out of their league

Deschamps - If he's mental

Sven - LOL

Steve VanClaren :P

Anyone would be mental to be fair. Any candidates have Grade A proof now that they'd be working for a clueless chairman with a very short memory and a director doing all the deals behind your back. How can you possibley succeed?

You never know Keegan might have seen those pictures on Sky Sports of his Chairman downing a pint of lager in one at the last game and thought to himself what type of example is the chairman setting for everyone associated with the club.

Mind you the sale of James Milner did not go down well.

No chance of Moyes leaving us. For a start, why would he want to leave for a much smaller footballing club? Why would he (or anyone for that matter) want to manage that joke of a football club.

As someone said on a previous post, i also have become to despise Newcastle over the past few years so also find the whole situation very, very amusing, as the club with the most deluded fans in the world is crumbling again.
