good to the papers opting for truthful headlines

does anyone think Aguero would of been able to back if Fellani really headbutted him?

the praise (for Aguero) and reaction to it in the Sky studio was also silly (but having someone awful like Lampard was never going to help, Henry was dreadful too.)
Aguero dives right before and his the one that goes over to Fellan. Fellani was stupid but he seemed to react to Aguero wanting to go head to head.

silly from Fellani but clear dodgy behaviour from Aguero, never a butt and Aguero makes about as much movement as Fellani but then goes off for an Oscar.

also the ref, classic random booking when compared to what he let go in this game (sometimes without even a foul) and then for some reason lets the fk happen before he is even finished with the yellow, which leads the flash point.
reallu dissapointing game, guess united are down to there bare bones but they hardly looked like they wanted to push on and attack.remember when Jose used to maon about other teams parking the bus.

Martin Atkinson tried to let the game flow(same as the chelsea/spurs semi final) by not giving free kicks for every slight foul but guess even that didn't help create a thriller.

update from the Sun(not everyone reads it) on the two big football stories this week

3 years ago the FA wrote to Joey Barton warning him to stop placing football bets as his account had been flagged up.he ignored the letter and then placed over 750 bets over the next 3 years.

the trouble at newcastle is as mentioned by someone is tracing back to the Demba Ba "free transfer" in 2011 that managed to generate £2m in payments by the club that included around £1m to Ba for image rights with some ending up in Panama.seperatly but still involving newcastle Sylvain Marveaux was one of 4 men arrested in france.

indeed, its been his MO for a good while, park the bus when he feels like it moan when someone does it to him.

indeed, he should get credit for trying to let the game flow but as well as small fouls he let some yellow card level ones go and let worse tackles go than Fellanis. which is pet hate when they just opt for a random booking and doing it that late.

with Martin Atkinson he is normally one of the worst ref's to get as he used to be to strict and quick with his cards but this last week he has tried to let the players play and in games that can have so much on them i would rather see that than what we sometimes see which is a player committ two fouls and be sent off.

Jon Moss on wednesday in the spurs/palace game gave pretty much any contact on Zaha as a foul for the first 80 minutes but in the last 10 minutes he got fouled a few times but he just waved play-on.hard to work out the refs sometimes but would rather see good games with 11 on 11 unless there are really bad fouls for cards.

indeed but the one thing i looks for is consistency, take away that one minute with Fellani and he would of had a very good game.
i feel bad to see the ref get conned and its a tough job but that Fellani booking, meant he was out of position when the FK was taken (you can see the ref still dealing with the yellow when its taken) and then Aguero sets Fellani and the ref up.

whats annoying is the FA will not be punishing Aguero (well at least theres no sign of it,) even though its pretty clear what happened. the same seems to be the case with Sanchez, i know he got a yellow, so that might have put paid to that.

Zaha, like most Palace players, is just a big old diver.
