Less likely to have blackout rights when spread around making game pass better value for money and only 1 outlay

Up to five games a week?

....for only one week out of 17 LOL.

Pretty much every year, there is only one Saturday night played during regular season.

Week 1 will have 5 games as 2 MNFs

But I agree, the wording is a little liberal as it'll be 4 games a week for the overwhelming majority of time

No TV company has ever had GP black out MNF, TNF or SNF previously I dont recall, and as already confirmed by qualcomm, it wont be happening with Sky next year.

So the threat of increased blackouts is minimal to say the least. But if BT Sport were to get MNF, increased subs for non Gamepass users would almost certainly increase.

The deal is in place nice and early which is pretty much what everyone was berating all parties for not doing during the last round of TV negotiations, yet people are nit picking the 'up to' part of the announcement.

Personally I say well done all involved. I for one am not going to moan that everything is in place for next September!!
