Well, if you buy the ticket at the gate on a weekend, it is quite expensive. The trick is to go on a weekday and buy your ticket in advance at a grocery store called "Meijers" (pronounced Meyers).
Ticket is about $36. And covers all rides, not just Top Thrill Dragster. I had a 2.25 hr wait for that ride. 1 hour for the ride, 1 hour for a maintenance stop, and about a quarter hour extra just for the front row seat. Sykotyk |

sorry to be off site for so long, we were celebrating Pats 19th in a row!!!!. For anyone interested in American football history:
Get to the search engine Google, put in search box: Harvard Yale football one of the links that comes up in response is: "Harvard Yale Football Game More than just the Game" click this link it is loaded with great info on history of american football. Also on a separate Google search put in the name Walter Camp he is referred to as Father of American Football, he was a coach at Yale who gave the game many innovations, the site in his honor is outstanding & will give you lots of info. 8) |

Ah, playing in winter is tradition. Us football fans look down upon those spoiled baseball "fans" and their warm summer season.
And the shirtless thing is more of a NCAA football thing. Drunk, crazy, rabid College kids strip off their shirts and paint letters on their bodies to form words (i.e. FSUcks). It's not the NFL fan that does this, just skinny college kids. In general NCAA fans are crazier. Car bashings, tailgating (my team, the Florida Gators lays claim to The Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party In The World, or, The Florida-Georgia game) Literally hundreds of thousands of Bulldogs and Gators camp out for a week or more before the game. Beer, B-B-Q and football. One of the truly great traditions and annual games in all of football. |
