Default Pubs in London to watch NFL - 23.09.2008, 12:55 PM

Anyone know any good pubs to go and watch the games on Sunday?

Usually watch them at home but feel like making an even out of it.

Maple Leaf in London However if there is a Soccer or Rugby match on then beware. . I asked the manager last year if they would be showing the game on sky after Wembley last year and IIRC there was soccer on so he said no. .

I asked How can a Canadian Pub shove on soccer over Football? it's what pulls in punters he said. . I understand . . i do. . still. . it's unbelievable!!

There is an American Sports bar somewhere in London (I forget where) they may show it. . I would hope so but I refer to the answer given above. .^^^^

Never been myself, but I have driven past it loads and only know about it from previous threads of a similar nature and that is the Famous Three Kings, near West Kensington Tube Station (quite near Earls Court)

The other chain is Bodeans BBQ, which is apparently more a restaurant so I'm not sure if you would be obligated to eat. They have branches in Fulham, Soho, Clapham and somewhere in the City of LOndon.

You can also try The Larrik at 32 Crawford Place near Marylebone / Edgware Road stations. They show the first game each Sunday but I think they have to close at 11pm, which would mean you would miss some of the second game.

The White Bear pub in Kennington, 2 mins walk from Kennington tube station is a must for all south London based gridiron fans, the manager is a Seahawks fan 8) and the Aussie barman is an avid Jets fan and provides non-stop gags all night, they have 2 big screens and show the normal Sky game and the red button game every Sunday!!

Indeed, it's an overpriced, crowded tourist trap, but it does show the games, usually both the main game and the red button game on different screens.

I was wondering that about Bodean's, I'd like to watch a game in there but will you have to make a meal last 4 hours?!

Anyone know the score on this, can you just drink and watch the game?
