Default when does the clock stop (when going out of Bounds)?

i know its stops in the fianl 2 minutes when going OOB, but sometimes i just see the playclock carrying on when a player goes out and sometimes i see a line judge, whatever there called, crossing his arms stopping the clock.

Anyone care to enlighten me, its been buggin me for ages.

It depends on if the player's knee is down before going out of bounds. if they go down on the edge of the field then go out the clock keeps going, but if they go down over the line the clock stops.

Hope that answed at least part of your question :-\

P.S the clocks stops when OOB throughout the game not just the last 2 minutes.
