Default List of all UK Retailers of NFL Jerseys and Other Gear - 27.07.2005, 12:06 AM

Updated for 2012 season with some new sites since the post 5 years ago!

The new official European NFL online store has now launched.

Click here to see the new shop.

--------------------------

JD Sports have recently begun selling jerseys as well.

--------------------------

New Era caps can also be purchased from the New Era website.

--------------------------

Great American Sports also offer a variety of products

--------------------------

Guys

I have noticed that there are a number of repeated posts on the board asking about where to buy NFL stuff from in the UK. I have been a NFL fan since the early 80s days of Channel 4 and much like everyone else has struggled buying things when everything disappeared from the high street in the late 80s.

Here is a list of all the places that I know that sell NFL gear or stuff in the UK. Some have been covered on the board before, however I don't think some have been mentioned (i.e. sport-e). Perhaps this could be made a sticky so there is a directory which people can add - rather than having a number of posts each week asking where sells NFL stuff in the UK?

Anyway, I hope this helps some of you who are looking to pick up jerseys etc.

Pontel

http://www.pontel.com/

You can buy officially licensed NFL game DVDs for £10 each including delivery. You can subscribe to your own team. or buy the odd game. I have used Pontel on and off for around 10 years and the service has always been excellant.

Amazon.co.uk

http://www.amazon.co.uk

Great selection of NFL books, and very good prices. You have to tend to know what you want though as there is not a 'NFL' section.

Other than that, there are guys on the board here like DarloPaul who can get hold of jerseys. Give them a shout if these places can't get what you want or are too expensive, they may be able to help.

Also try Decathlon, got a few in stock at my local at around £30.

My brother got a Shaun Alexander jersey from there last weekend for his brother in law and cost him £20.

ACA Sports

http://www.acasports.com/index.php?c...c598619aff9cfc

Formerly the official gameday retailers at Claymores games (until the final season when the contract was awarded to a company who had bought rights to all sports at Hampden). Good selection, decent prices and good service. Jerseys £44.99. Well worth checking out.

Reebok.co.uk NFL store

http://www.reebokstore.co.uk/stores/...l/default.aspx

Decent selection of jerseys, tops, caps and some nice other items. Tends to focus on 6 - 8 teams and some of the jerseys are out of date, but still full price (i.e. Garcia at Niners). However, do have some newer jerseys as well - i.e Peterson Niners - £44.99. Again, worth checking out.

Kitbag NFL Store - (10% off all prices if you visit via dabs.com)

http://www.dabs.com/uk/rewards/memberspecials/kitbag/
http://www.kitbag.com/stores/kitbag_...av&mnu=NFL

Similar, if not identical to Reebok.co.uk, sometimes seem to have more other stuff than Reebok (mini-helmets, mouse mats etc). Be sure to enter via the above link and not direct and you get 10% off all prices as kitbag are a Dabs reward partner. Again, jerseys £44.99 or £40 with discount, so worth checking out.

Great American Sports

http://www.greatamericansports.co.uk/

The longest established NFL retailer in the UK. Been around for 20 years. Advertise heavily in 1st Down. Excellant selection, friendly staff. Personally, I have always found them a bit expensive so have not bought much by the way of clothing from them. However, I get my Super Bowl program from them every year - and have had always received it prior to kick-off. If you are looking for a particularly jersey give these a ring.

Trans Atlantic Sports

http://www.nasn.com/shop
http://www.ta-sports.net/

These are the people who run the NASN shop. Personally, I have never used them as again I have found their prices fairly high £49.99 for a jersey. I have also heard stories on message boards that their delivery times are 4-6 weeks for NFL gear. However, I can't comment on this having never used them before.

Sport-e

http://www.sport-e.com/rf/navigation...=1&Ntt=nfl

Limited selection but brand new Reebok Brady and Urlacher shirts for £29.95! Also some Reebok hoodies for £22.49 and t-shirts for £11. Silly prices but limited selection!

La Redoute

http://www.redoute.co.uk/redouteuk/s...,1170,,00.html

£23.40 for Woodson (Silver), Portis (Red) or Faulk (White) - brand new jerseys. Again, silly prices but limited selection.

Footlocker

Carry a few NFL jerseys every season. Last year had Brady, Gildon, Vick and a blank #50 Giants one - in January these were all reduced to £19.99 each including the Brady and Vick jerseys!. Over the summer they had Brad Johnson (Bucs - white), Favre (Yellow), McAllister (Gold), Santana Moss (Jets - white). Normal price £39.99 - which is about best for a retail outlet in UK. Always good to watch out for the sales and whether any of the NFL gear makes it way into them.

Allsports

Signed a deal with NFL around the time of the Super Bowl to sell NFL jerseys. Stocked Brady, Bettis and Barber - however they were £50 each. As far as I am aware, these jerseys are still in the stores and still priced at £50 each.

Reebok Outlet Stores

Reebok Outlet Stores tend to carry odds and sods of NFL gear. For example, the two Reebok Outlet Stores in the North East (Royal Quays and Dalton Park) both have new Tim Brown Raiders Jerseys and Brian Griese Broncos Jerseys (both NFL Equipment) for £30.00, and a selection of caps for $8. Can be hit and miss what they have in.

Ball Park Figures

http://www.ballparkfigures.co.uk/

Have a selection of NFL figures and mini-helmets. Bought a few figures from them previously - very good, OK prices and great delivery.

Sports Book Direct

http://www.sportsbooksdirect.co.uk/

Good selection of NFL books (but quite pricey - I tend to order from Amazon.co.uk instead). However, they get all the NFL pre-season magazines in stock and have free delivery. They were selling Pro Football Weekly 2005 preview edition for £2.99! You can also get USA Today Sports Weekly, ESPN the Magazine, Sports Illustrated and the Sporting News from them. This is the online arm of Sportspages in London and Manchester.

Pontel

http://www.pontel.com/

You can buy officially licensed NFL game DVDs for £10 each including delivery. You can subscribe to your own team. or buy the odd game. I have used Pontel on and off for around 10 years and the service has always been excellant.

Amazon.co.uk

http://www.amazon.co.uk

Great selection of NFL books, and very good prices. You have to tend to know what you want though as there is not a "NFL" section (I tend to use Sports Book Direct to browse - then order from Amazon).

Other than that, there are guys on the board here like DarloPaul who can get hold of jerseys. Give them a shout if these places can't get what you want or are too expensive, they may be able to help.

I realise the NFL has it's officials sellers and everything, but seriously seriously seriously, ebay has to be your first port of call. You only get caught out if you're not careful and it's dirt cheap for the same jerseys.

I agree, ebay can be a very good source, however you do need to check out the feedback of the seller. Whilst there are a lot of geniune sellers and some very good bargains, there are also a number of fakes kicking around on ebay - especially authentic jerseys (if it sounds to good to be true, often it is). As such, not everyone wants to buy from ebay.

The purpose of the post was to try and come up with a definitive list of where in the UK sells NFL Gear - as this has been the source of a number of threads in the past.

Nb. 'mupa' = no need to highlight a huge post when making a point, it just serves to annoy the person reading it when they have to scroll down for no reason

I am a good e-bay seller, I have never had negative feedback because of a jersey, and I am about to get a load of 20ish jerseys, in fact I am selling a sewn Ricky Williams one right now:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=7174738895

I also lift my descriptions from official stores, so that I am using the same descriptions as the companys that sell them.

But yea, if you are looking on e-bay always check the feedback rating of the seller and avoid them if it is any less than 5, and do not even think about bidding on a zero or negative seller's items.

I actually only sell shirts to cover the costs of building my shirt collection, I am aiming to get a shirt for every team at some point.
