View Full Version : Anyone worried about Turner

I remember watching him in the Play offs last season and looking a bit worried.

Yesterday he kept running into the wall a losing a few yards here and there.
Let's hope he's just a bit rusty and we can get back to Burning a la Detroit a few weeks ago.

Dont expect the same from him for 2 reasons
1)we aren't playing a cup cake schedule, he may have gone foe 1699 yards last year but he picked up 463 against the Lions, Chiefs and the Raiders..TB weren't all that great on D at the end of last year and he took them for 160 aswell, so if you take of those 4 games he was only averaging 90 yards a game..the scheudl is alot harder this year and we will face better defenses
2)With Ryan maturing and the addition of Tony G we will be passing the ball alot more than last year, and Turner wont be getting upwards of 370 carries this year(which is a good thing in the long run)

I wouldn't worry about him. With Atlanta's passing offense as good as it is this year the ground game will just open up. The only part of the team that worries me is the defense, although they had a solid game against the dolphins.

Our offensive line was pretty terrible. It's hard to judge a player when they're that bad.
