just looked at next years schedule and it looks tough.along with the 6 division games we are at home to the packers, vikings, texans, colts and bucs and away to the bears, lions, jags, titans and rams.away from home there is some good matchups but at home it looks really difficult.if it turns out to be a losing season i hope shanahan gets time as i think he could be the man we need to turn the franchise around and it could take 2-3 years to do it.

hopefully i will be going to that bears game.brother lives in chicago so it will fit in well.i was at soldier field the last time the skins were there in 04.sean taylor had a great game that day.

it does look to be a tough schedule, but i suppose there are few easy games in the nfl.

Hopefully we can get the FedEx Factor back next season and make those tough games, tough for our opponents. Our road schedule isnt too bad if we can hit some form next season.

The road game against the Jags could well be at Wembley though - how would that factor?

How much substance is there to that comment ?

I'd definitely be up for a trip to Londinium if that was the case

Significantly less than when I'd made it. To be honest I was being a little hopeful but a story had been going around in the US that the 49ers and Jags would be the home teams and it was looking likely they were playing the Eagles and Redskins respectively.

The latest speculation can be seen in the International Series bit of this Forum.

It seems now though that the Jags owner has said they won't be playing in London so presumably the story was much rumour over substance.

I guess I should add it always seems to me, in the states, that NFL stories often seem to be correct when compared, say, to Premier League Soccer or other English sports. American Journalists seem to have good informant networks compared to ours, who just make stuff up or print any old rumour.
