Falcons embrace MMA training (http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/marvez-on-glazer-falcons-mma-training-041610)
I like it. Doing different sports keep players motivated and interested rather than the same old drills they have done a hundred times.

That would be good to help improve tackling, but there is a big risk of injury

I don't like the idea of any hard kicking. Could damage the knees etc.

Wouldn't wanna spar with Harvey Dahl, he'd ruin anybody.

Well i doubt they will be doing any up coming mma events
But its just like using boxing, helps stamina, quickness in your hands and feet aswell as co-ordination.
Something outside the box so i'm a fan.

By MMA training I dont think they mean actual Muay Thai or Jui Jitsu etc sparring but just the actual routines that fighters employ to optimise thier cardio and core strength conditioning.
