Does anyone think that the T.O situation will only get worse as the season gets under way. I just think that if he put up huge numbers that hes gonna moan more and disrupt the team.

OK, since I like the Eagles... not as much as the Pats, but I like them... I will weigh in.

T.O. is an awesome player, and he will put up huge numbers, but I think the disconnect between him and his QB will cause problems in the long run.

There are two ways T.O. might approach the season: 1) quietly ignore his teammates while catching as many passes as he can, in the hopes of boosting his value for a possible trade next year, or 2) become a vocal distraction that will sabotage the Eagles' season. Neither of those paths will lead the Eagles back to the Super Bowl. Sadly, being a team player doesn't appear to be an option for Owens.

I wonder if T.O. will be remembered as the greatest unfulfilled potential in the game. He can't expect to hop from team to team and get a Super Bowl ring. The Eagles are his best shot at the big dance, and he's going to ruin it.

The good news for the Eagles is that they still have No. 5, and as long as they have him, they will always be a contender. Maybe the Eagles would be better off of T.O. got injured again. Maybe not :)

Good luck to your Igles.

it seems t.o.'s will to succeed has got the better of his ego and he has done his very shallow best to make it up with mcnabb.

if those two get it together on the field (;))nobody will stop you.

we haven't been the luckiest team in the league with the injuries eg. todd pinkston. but we have an ace QB and a quality reciever so i think that we have a good chance of doin well and finishing at least 13-3 ;)

Re:Eagles Thread

yeah i think well be around that figure aswell plus with a better running game with the option of Gordon i think were gonna be there or there abouts.

offence;

decent line, lots of good weapons, varied running attack which can form part of the receiving corps. and an ever improving quaterback with arguably the best receiver in the league.

defence;

weakened slightly with simons gone, but still very good at both pass and run block.

coach;

andy reid is one of the best in the game....great organiser, great motivator and a brilliant tactician.

sorry....im prolly kissing a bit too much butt here.
