2013 Draft and Schedule

I notice there isn't many of us on here so thought I'd try to get a thread going before the start of the draft early Friday morning.

So we have pick numbers..

Round 1. 27
Round 2. 57
Round 3. 89
Round 3. 95
Round 4. 124
Round 5. 160
Round 6. 195
Round 6. 201
Round 7. 233

What do you want us to do in the draft. I think we need to get an extra body in at NT to help in the rotation with Earl Mitchell.
WR is a massive need too. Andre Johnson has said in interviews that he would like us to draft a playmaker at the receiver position too.
I think we could do with getting in some OL help, even if it is just for depth to start with. Maybe draft later on for this. We could do with someone at both ILB and OLB too.

Schedule

1 September 9 @ San Diego Chargers
2 September 15 Tennessee Titans
3 September 22 @ Baltimore Ravens
4 September 29 Seattle Seahawks
5 October 6 @ San Francisco 49ers
6 October 13 St. Louis Rams
7 October 20 @ Kansas City Chiefs
8 Bye
9 November 3 Indianapolis Colts
10 November 10 @ Arizona Cardinals
11 November 17 Oakland Raiders
12 November 24 Jacksonville Jaguars
13 December 1 New England Patriots
14 December 5 @ Jacksonville Jaguars
15 December 15 @ Indianapolis Colts
16 December 22 Denver Broncos
17 December 29 @ Tennessee Titans

Rounds one and two I would like us to go receiver then middle linebacker if there's value at no.57. At receiver I want one of Hopkins, Allen or Robert Woods.
This class seems to be quite deep at safety and OL which is where I would like us to go with any one of the two third rounders, the fourth and fifth

It's done. There are a few more of us on here but the activity is very sporadic, I'm guilty of it too. Hopefully a few more play-off appearances, or a London trip will raise support

13-3 or 12-4 for you next season with that schedule

Really? With the Seahawks, trips to San Fran and Baltimore, games against Denver and New England and two games against a revitalised Colts. I think that is a tough 7 games right there.

I agree we are a much better team than we are given credit for. We lost the leader of our D last year at the Jets and have added Ed Reed. A number 2 receiver and we become a very dangerous play-off team

Only difference I would make to your projection is that we lose to one of Denver or New England in those 50/50 games, both are very up tempo and if we get behind we can struggle playing catch up

Agreed I have a soft spot for your team so tend to look out for them. (apart from the most boring team name in the NFL!)

Good points and I agree but even then that is 12-4 and a good chance of the 2 seed behind Denver

Right back at you, have 2 friends who are big packers fans! And hey, I would rather be the Texans than the Bobcats or the Apollos that were on the shortlist ha!

I see what you mean I am always wary of one or two surprise results in a season though, that's what makes the NFL great; the level playing field
