May 6th election called.

Just keep the Tories out.

Osborne knows bugger all about the economy or how to run/fix it, he should stick to running his "Daddies" wallpaper empire, so that Tarquin and Henrietta can inherit it oneday

The thing I'm most nervous about is the BNP in certain areas gaining MP's, never thought I'd see it but think they may get quite a few in the way things are going.

I'll reserve my judgement on who gets my vote for now - have to say though that if a party came out and said we could go back to Gene Hunt policing they would be my choice :D :)

I never thought id say it but im considering voting tory. Im a big Gordon Brown fan but im starting to want a stricter government thats going to be the hated scrimpers while we get back on our feet - not to mention my area is a Lib Dem v Tory battleground and a vote for Labour means voting for Lib Dem

Yeah I hate a system whereby I cant vote seperately for national and regional politics.

Voting Labour is a wasted vote for me, I just feel like I dont have the choice and impact I should do.

Will never happen for two reasons.

1. People vote differently at general elections compared to the 'protest vote' at local council or Euro elections.

2. No proportional representation.

Im sure they got 1 or 2 at the last general election and I wouldnt be suprised to see this go up by 3-5 due the economic recession.

Same in my constituancy. . the LIB Dems post their campaign based on the fact the 'labour can't win here'!
To be honest the South West is either a Tory or Liberal area in general and Labour cant win here as such labour dont even really give it a go. . they always come in 3rd and the only reason the Liberals can argue my reasoning on casting a vote for them is that a vote for labour helps the Tories. . however is PR the answer?

The real issue of course is that no party offers to much and politics is a seemingly dishonest profession with seemingly dishonest candidates. . and lets be honmest the PM Mr Brown has been caught in 2 un truths (lies) just lately. . and he wants us to trust him to run the country and he cant even be trusted himself. . not good. . i wonder how many will remember that on poll day?

I am disheartened by the whole process.
