Sky Bet Football League Thread

Watched the opening game on Sky. 90 dull minutes of two decent teams cancelling each other out in midfield and then Blue Heaven.

Big critic of Martin Taylor but he showed he can play at this level but not signing any defenders leaves me worried about the long term stategy at the club. But then I am not part of the inner circle.roll on The Chinese Takeover as opposed to the Gold Takeaway.

Liked Bent and seen the sense of him starting up front as he had a physical presence and was able to put his foot in and win the ball in the hectic scramble that is Championship Football. 8)

What are the odds of Kevin Phillips signing for Wolves next season in an attempt to gain promotion from the Championship with a West Midlands club three seasons in a row and then moving to Walsall in mid-season for the same reason

PNE's omens seem good this season . not only beating Ipswich at Portman Road from a goal down but also winning the first game of the season in a while.

Watched the Forest game and I have to say I was very impressed by Guy Moussi. The lad received some high praise so I was interested to see what the fuss was all about, and Forest may have a potential gem on their hands. Could be the Championship's answer to Michael Essien... I still cringe every time I see that shot that almost knocked Sonko out cold! :o

As much as i despise Forest, i watched them game hoping for them to lose and Moussi seemed very good. Precisely the sort of player Derby need in their team, someone who can distribute the ball well across the pitch

I was so confident that Town were going to win especially after going up after 2 minutes.
Anyway, hopefully we can do you a favour by beating Burnley tomorrow. I'm going and I can't wait.

Tomorrow will be the Grecians first home league match in 5 years, they will be hosting Shrewsbury in what should be an entertaining game.

Looking forward to what will hopefully be a home win!! 8)

Come on. I thought that there would be more interest in this thread. Let's hear from you Wolves fans whose team has again scaled the heights and reached their preordained position in life: BELOW BIRMINGHAM ! ;D

been to every doncaster rovers game so far this year was delighted with 1-0 win over derby (it wasn't as surprising to me as the rest of the footy world cos i think Paul Jewel is a bad manager who signed too many players) then almost unhappy that a silly error cost us 2 points against cardiff but i was mortified by our defending against QPR we'll see what happens on saturday against cardiff

Great start from Leicester, bouncing straight back where we belong. Been to the two home games and league one football is worse than i thought. Leicester have been far from good and yet outshone tranmere and mk dons without any problems.
