I have no why I'm going against Brady and backing the Falcons, but I think they're gonna win.

31-21

I just can't see the Patriots losing this. I respect the Falcons Offense has been really good, but you just know BB will have devised a cunning game plan to shut down the running game and take away Julio Jones. I see Ryan throwing a pair of costly picks and the game getting away from Atlanta in the 2nd half.
Pick: Pats 34-17 but would love to see the Falcons win.

This matchup reminds me slightly of last years SB, a QB and offense firing on all cylinders, against a well oiled machine.

I just hope we don't have the same outcome where the Falcons choke like Cam and his Panthers did.

I cant call it, every part of me wants to say that the Falcons win in a close contest, but the Pats have been there done that got multiple t-shirts (or rings)

if you put a gun to my head and said score preds I'd go ATL 34 - 28 NE

I'm just hoping for a great game, all the playoff games have been a bit disappointing so far, this could be the one !!!

I can see the Pats having some success slowing down the Atlanta offence. I can't see the Atlanta defense having the same success slowing down the Patriots offence. This is the toughest defense that Atlanta have faced in awhile. I'll take Patriots to cover the 3 point spread.

This has indeed been the most disappointing playoffs I can ever remember in 34 years of watching the NFL (aside from the thrilling GB-DAL game).
A Falcons win would remedy that, but as you say the Pats have been here before and know what it takes to win.

I expect the Pats will win (yawn) through experience alone but the Falcons probably have the best shot of beating them from the NFC this year so fingers crossed for an upset.

This is probably my least favourite Super Bowl matchup......ever?

Another ring for the Pats, or a division rival. Choose your poison. The NFC south was much more fun when the bucs were the only SB winner in the division. You could shut down any conversation with a rival by posting a picture of the Lombardi trophy. Very childish, but great fun.

Atlanta's offense is intimidating, sure, but It's not other-wordly, and If you give Belichick two weeks to come up with a way of stopping you, he'll likely find something to achieve it.
If you make the offense one dimensional and force the Falcons to just pass or run the ball you can have success - if you allow them to mix it up they'll tear you apart.

I think the Pats win this one. And i'm not sure how close its going to be - I have a sneaking suspicion that it's going to be a fairly comfortable nights work for Brady and co.

34-17 Pats win.

I think it will be a close game but I think we are going to win our first Lombardy Trophy.
