they have had the tarp on the field but might get muddy later.good for the Cowboys if it can slow down the passing game.

Got no idea whether the field conditions are a good thing or a bad thing. Same for both teams I suppose.

No chance I can stay up for this one, will have to avoid everything bar GamePass like the plague until I can catch up on the full broadcast in the morning.

Not a fan of the Rams rotating Gurley and Anderson.

Home teams getting the calls tonight.

a battle won in the trenches, Rams ran like champs and mostly stuffed Zeke.

neither QB had a massive impact but the boys needed Dak and overall he lacked.

this ends the biased Fox nonsense at least on the Cowboys.

Cant grumble with that. Fully expected to lose, and we gave it a good crack against the second best team in the league, with the best defense in the league. We went further than I expected so good season overall.

Roll on September.

Hats off to the Rams and their steamrolling offence. The Cowboys had no answer to their ground game, they were worn down and outplayed.

Still, quite a frustrating way to lose. The Byron Jones hands to the face penalty on 3rd down in the 2nd Q was a killer. The Rams probably still win the game without it but that penalty prolonged the drive, which sapped even more energy from the D, and ended in 7 points too. Without it the Rams punt and it's still 13-7, potentially heading into the half with the Cowboys receiving the ball in the 3rd Q.

Dak's inaccuracy (or lack of composure) was costly again. He'll be this Franchise's QB for some time to come, but if he can't solve his inconsistency as a passer then this team will never make it to the promised land. Ignore the stats, padded by the Rams soft coverage and vulnerabilities. There were several passes or missed opportunities that should have been taken. He seems to struggle with simple passes, leading a receiver, or coming off his first read and choosing the better option. It's such a roller coaster. Maybe that's a bit melodramatic to 'neutrals' but it's so frustrating to watch from week to week.

Oh well, from 3-5 to losing by 8 at the Rams in the Divisional Round, things trended in the right direction. Zeke, Cooper and Gallop look to have great potential as a trio. Dak needs to continue to develop (see above). The D has some good pieces. It's a team with age on it's side too, so it just needs to take another couple of steps forward in order to truly challenge for the NFC.
