That quick glimpse, as it stands, shows it's a lot more complicated than is being made out. They've used plenty of their own ammo to turn pick 43 into that list.

on Jeff Howe's twitter feed there is a graphic of the trades as the full article is behind the Atlantic pay wall and it takes some following but yes we have traded picks to move up for some players but we haven't given up a ton to get the picks and still came out with an extra 2020 4th rounder.

also shows how active Belichick is on draft days 2 and 3.

Thought the Colts had, but i'm just about to have a look at the UDFA trackers so I'll double check.

CBS has him with the Colts, but other sources don't.

A bit like Brett Rypien. Nothing official from the Broncos, but other sources have him there.

in 2018 the Patriots traded Jimmy Garoppolo for the #43 pick

in 2018/19 drafts the patriots packaged that pick and some draft day moves up and down the boards into pretty much....

2018
#56 Duke Dawson
#178 Christian Sam

2019
#45 Joejuan Williams
#87 Damian Harris
#101 Yodny Cajuste
#133 Jarrett Stidman
#159 Byron Cowart

and an extra 2020 4th round pick.

I'd much rather have Garappolo, even allowing for the fact you'd have to have paid him a large contract
