Your team's Mt. Rushmore

Similar to NBC's concept where you pick the four faces of your (or any) franchise's history.

Don't have time right now personally, so next one may begin!

This is difficult outside of Al and Madden

Hard to leave off Upshaw, Freddie B., Marcus, Hendricks, Stabler and Howie.

If you were to ask me, who do you think of first when you think of the Raiders it would be:
Al
Madden
Freddie
Marcus Allen

There was one done before for the Broncos.

They called it Mount Crushmore

Elway, Davis, Sharpe and Gradishar were voted in

Al Davis
Otto - Mr. Raider
Madden
Willie Brown (Raiders have to be represented by a defensive back)

No Ray Guy ??

He should be in the Hall of Fame and should be considered for this

Well you can't include everyone and since he's a punter...he would be behind some of the guys.

Really really really difficult for me to exclude this guy especially...it was between him and Willie Brown.

If there were 5 - he would be on it. Hell, maybe replace Madden...I don't know.

But he's just a total Raider personified along with Otto - down and dirty and scrappy.

Little? Why not him? Or Zimm? Why is Davis on there? He was in the league for the Broncos for a cup of coffee.

Anthony Munoz, Ken Anderson, Boomer Esiason and Paul Brown.

Not too difficult to choose those.

BBQ Platypus 05.06.2013 05:48 AM

Bud Grant
Fran Tarkenton
Alan Page
Adrian Peterson

For the last one one could go with Eller if you'd prefer to honor history. Maybe even CC, Doleman, or Moss. Still, Peterson's greatness is such that I just can't leave him off. (Sadly, even I can't avoid screwing Jim Marshall over for a lifetime honor).

Crash11 05.06.2013 05:51 AM

Don Shula, Dan Marino, Larry Csonka and Dwight Stephenson

Andyf 05.06.2013 06:08 AM

Sid Gillman, Don Coryell, Dan Fouts, Charlie Whitehurst. :p

(seriously it'd be Alworth or Seau)
