Unhappy Walter Payton 10 years on

This Sunday marks the 10th anniversary of the passing of the best ever football player "Sweetness". I have just seen the Bears boards and there are some great stories in tribute to this great man.
I do hope that this weekend the Bears can put in a performance worthy of a tribute to him.
The Bears are showing a tribute during the half time break in the Game against the Browns on Sunday.

If you don't know watch and be amazed.

He hit like a linebacker, Ran like a Truck, jumped like a Gazelle.
Missed one game in a 13 year career.

There is no one like him.

He was my hero growing up and it was such a shame he had so little time with us.

34 Forever.

They say the good die young and that is so true in Walter Payton's case.I don't think there will be another running back like him. So fast,so strong and light on his feet. The times I watched him in the 80's and sat open mouthed after watching some of his amazing runs.

Thanks for the links guys...they were great.

The next painting I will be doing will be of The Sweetness.

Will be thinking of him on Sunday as well as the soldiers who gave up everything for us.

God Bless Walter Payton.
