I'm a bit ambivalent.

He's obviously an upgrade in terms of QB skills but something is not quite right. Is it the receivers or the offensive game plan?

We finally get a potentially great quarterback...and now the offensive line falls apart, they look really second rate right now.

If the Bears want to hit the playoffs or even SuperBowl in the next few years they need to get the O-line sorted and (hate to say it) start playing some better defence.

Execution is Godawful at the moment
And the O-line leaks worse than the Titanic.
Anyone in that scenario would be hard pressed to perform well. He's running for his life from D blitzes, the line can't hold for Forte to be a running threat, which is allowing defenses to get intermediate & deep coverage on the receivers.
Olsen or the long ball to Hester or Knox is not a game plan.
Get the basics right and he flies,at the moment too many things are going wrong around him to control.
But he proved at Denver under pressure and down in points he can perform.Im giving him time

I dont understand what is wrong with the Oline... the talent seems to be there... but they just are not performing... I definitely think the personnel is an upgrade on last year, but they dont seem to be gelling and working together... Beekman seemed to open some more holes for Forte last week, so here is hoping they can build on this for the Cards this Sunday!
