Lionel Messi is in for a shock when the Falcons turn up on Sunday at the Nou Camp.

Aaah, it also says 3 planes will take everyone to London, but the 3rd plane is taking them back to Atlanta!

Or do they mean 3 planes because of the number of staff?

If you flew via Barcelona (I don't know why you would do that but stick with me) then the Falcons would travel on 3 planes and the graphic would simply be missing an additional red line between Barca and London.

So I've wasted a fortune on booking a train to Kings Cross and a hotel in London for this weekend?

well you could be right, but if thats the case then i refer you to the descriptive detail at the bottom under the map.. apparently to get to london you fly from ATL to Baltimore, then from Baltimore to LDN, and then you fly from LDN to ATL, in order to get to london! ha!

Yeah I was wondering that as well, surely they're not going to have three planeloads of people

Where is this picture even from, can't be official surely?

Sadly it is official! Was posted on Atlanta Falcons website (they have now corrected it though) They have held their hands up for the mistake

"EDIT: The Falcons have had three planes involved in getting team and staff to London — one that flew the team from Atlanta to Baltimore, one that flew the team from Baltimore to London and one that flew staff, sponsors and cheerleaders from Atlanta to London. We regret the lack of clarity in the graphic. We also regret and apologize for any unfinished and unedited drafts that were published."
