Default Throwing 4 interceptions then winning the Superbowl

I was wondering, because I'm still optimistic, whether anyone had thrown 4 interceptions in their first game of the season and then gone on to win the Superbowl that year.

And the good news is they have:

Most recently Tom Terrific threw 4 ints in the Pats' 2003 31-0 opening loss to Buffalo. They haven't lost to Buffalo since.

Kenny Stabler threw 4 in Oakland's opener in 1976.

And Bart Starr did the same in 1967.

So there we are. I don't know how many of those teams also lost their talismanic middle linebacker for the year in the same game, but let's not think about that, eh?

I think we have a long way to go before anyone starts thinking about a Superbowl. Cutler will be fine imo but let's get some wins first, actually get to the plaoffs and then worry about the teams who are simply better equipped to win (i.e Pittsburgh, Phiily, New York, Indy, NE...).

I hope Cutler can get us the extra win or two to get into the playoffs and then anything can happen.
