Default Jets v Bills game

As part of my 40th bday celebration holiday i`ve managed to persuade the wife that we should goto this game.
What can we expect from the game? Are there any pre-game entertainments?
How early is do we really need to get there?
I think we are going to get the train there. So transport is all sorted.
Any sort of advice would be great.
Just one point to add i`m a Bears fan!!!

Been to a few Jets games and very luckily going again for the Miami game this year. Plenty time for the Bears as I know a few fans and also they won the first SB I watched....

My experiences at the Jets games have all been great.

Transport to MetLife is good.
Tailgating is good. Read up on it on any Jets forum. Some real Jets nutters there! Go early as you can I'd say.
Crowd is funny at times....as in they turn on the team FAST if the game ain't going well. But essentially it's a good hearted crowd made up of plenty tourists too....given the popularity of NY I guess.
Beer at the stadium is a total ***k**g rip off once inside. Food is fairly steeply priced too given that bars back in manhattan are handing out free chicken wings and pizza when you buy a beer at half the stadium price.

Don't recall seeing many folk, if any, wearing jerseys of non competing teams inside so couldn't advise on you going beared up or not.

Just don't be cheering on the Bills!

Post jets v bills

i am vikings fan who is also going to this game using the train, changing at SECAUSUS JUNCTION to get the connecting train that goes to the MEADOWLANDS SPORTS COMPLEX.
I have been to the MET LIFE stadium for a GIANTS game and prices for food and drink are a bigger RIP OFF than Wembley Stadium so be prepared
I have been to see the JETS before in the old stadium and their fans are great and create a really good game atmosphere so i am sure you will enjoy it but i will have to keep a little quiet as the BILLS are my AFC TEAM.
