I'm sure your knowledge of Marrone is pretty good with your Syracuse links. Early days I know, and there's lots of moving and shaking to come but what's your gut feeling about expectations for next season. Minimum 8 wins??

I'll take 8 wins right now. A big improvement in the first season under coach Marrone then we kick on in 2014 with a serius play-off push. Is that a crazy aim?

I dont think it's crazy. I think this season was a strange one, they seemed to have most of the pieces in place but they just didnt connect for some reason. Taking the view that they will hit the ground running, and that we don't lose many key players in the off season, then I think we should realistically expect two more games in the win column. I really don't think that is expecting too much. I'm not saying we are like the Colts or Vikings but it's clear that team's can turn things around quickly.

It's all about what happens with the passing game. Nobody is expecting to go 10-6 but it's not the horrible team it was when Chan Gailey first took over. That team was a mess, this team has the foundation for a playoff apperance.
