Hi everyone,
I’m proud to announce the new packages for NFL Game Pass for the 2013 season. Actual pricing and further details are coming very soon. But for you loyal fans on the NFLUK forum, I want to give you an early look at what’s to come.

In the coming days, we will be posting all the details and the ability to subscribe for the 2013 season at http://NFL.com/gamepass. For fans living elsewhere, please visit NFL.com/GamePass for further details next week.

Similar to last season, we are offering Season, Season Plus, and Follow Your Team Subscription packages for purchase within the next few weeks, and a Weekly subscription option once the regular season kicks off.

  • Season Subscription – provides access to all 2013 Preseason and Regular Season games live and on demand, blackout rules apply. • Season Plus Subscription – includes all 2013 Preseason and Regular Season games, live and on demand, blackout rules apply. For UK subscribers, the package also includes Offseason access through July 31st of 2014. Playoffs and Super Bowl are available on demand (not live). This package also includes live access to NFL Network as well as archived programming, NFL RedZone, NFL games from 2009 - 2012 seasons, and access to full Coaches Film of 2013 regular season games. You can subscribe via a single payment, or via monthly installments. Access begins immediately through 31 July 2014.

Access begins immediately when purchased and runs for 7 days.

Price
For fans in the UK & Republic of Ireland, subscription prices for Season, Season Plus and Follow Your Team packages will remain the same as last season. We are very excited to keep prices consistent (the lowest price we’ve ever offered NFL Game Pass) while providing subscribers with better features and enhancements than ever before. (For fans outside of UK & Republic of Ireland, please check later at NFL.com/GamePass, 2013 packages will be released within a matter of days.)

Currency
We have listened to our subscribers and will continue to offer the ability to purchase in US Dollar or British Pound. If you wish to be billed in GBP, you can simply select the currency in the dropdown menu on the NFL Game Pass page. Your credit card will be billed in GBP, thus you will not have to incur any bank conversion fee. We will also offer a number of other currencies. Visit NFL.com/GamePass for a full list of options.

Auto-Renewals
If you have opted in to renew your NFL Game Pass subscription, you will be auto-billed for your selected subscription on or about August 1st. You will receive an email notification soon with full details. If however you do not want to wait and want to access NFL Game Pass when the new packages are made available, you can simply subscribe and you will not be billed twice. Once you subscribe, assuming with the same account as you have in the past, we will not auto-bill you for this season again. If you want to opt out of auto-renewal for this season, simply contact customer support before August 1st and they will gladly help you deactivate the auto-renewal feature on your account.

For account specific or billing-related questions, please contact customer support:

Call: (any time from 12:00pm ET to 10:00pm ET) at 1-407-936-0867

UK/Republic of Ireland Blackout Rules
Similar to last season, select Sunday games aired on Sky Sports in UK and Republic of Ireland are subject to a 24-hour blackout within NFL Game Pass. This includes Regular Season games for all package options as well as Playoffs and Super Bowl within the Season Plus subscription package. Visit our FAQ page for further blackout details: http://gamepassuk.support.nfl.com/Vi...CLID=205563706

Smartphones and Tablets
Once again for the 2013 season, NFL Game Pass will be made available through select Android smartphones and tablet devices, as well as iPhone and iPad, via the NFL Game Pass app. Subscribers for the 2013 season will be able to view live and on demand games, NFL Network live and, new this season, archived NFL Network programming.

For Android smartphones and tablets specifically, the NFL Game Pass team is continuing to work on supporting the new and ever changing Android operating system upgrades. If you are having trouble with access on an Android device, contact customer support who can help troubleshoot, or identify whether your device is supported.

For iOS, similar to last season, the NFL Game Pass app on iPhone and iPad will include the ability to Airplay to your AppleTV. Unfortunately, an AppleTV app will not be available this season. That said, the video quality from Airplay to AppleTV will be improved for the Regular Season.

New this season will be apps on Windows 8. More details coming soon.

Currently, there are no plans to support apps for Blackberry or any other mobile/tablet platforms.

For further details on supported devices, visit our FAQs: http://gamepassuk.support.nfl.com/Vi...CLID=205437176

New and Enhanced Features

NFL RedZone
Last season NFL RedZone was added to NFL Game Pass for UK and Republic of Ireland fans and the response was overwhelmingly positive. We are happy to announce that NFL RedZone will be back, both live and on demand for the start of the Regular Season.

NFL Network Programming

EDIT:
Unfortunately, availability of archived NFL Network programming on mobile and tablet devices will not be ready for the start of the regular season. At this point, we can't guarantee any time frames for this feature but will update the thread once we have more information. Apologies for the back tracking.

Game Console
There are currently no NFL Game Pass apps for game consoles supported. While we cannot guarantee any apps on game consoles for 2013, we are currently investigating offering an NFL app for the Xbox. Stay tuned for more updates on its availability throughout the Offseason.

Condensed Games
You spoke, we listened. Condensed games will be back for the 2013 season with improved editing. All games will include condensed game versions shortly after the conclusion of the live game.

Coaches Film
Back by popular demand, Coaches Film for all 2013 games will be made available with the Season Plus subscription package. New for the 2013 season is Coaches Film offered in HD quality! For Season and Follow Your Team packages, only select plays will include Coaches Film footage. Generally, Coaches Film footage will be made available roughly 3 days after the conclusion of the live games (excluding blackout games). For past seasons Coaches Film footage is shot in Standard-Definition, so we can only offer past seasons in standard definition.

NFL.com Fantasy
For those of you who play Fantasy Football on NFL.com, you will be able to monitor your fantasy scores and results within the NFL Game Pass experience. This feature will launch in time for the regular season. Be sure to register your fantasy team today at http://NFL.com/Fantasy

Game Search
New in 2013, you can now search an archived game to see all plays involving a specified player or type of play such as “Sack.” You can further limit the search results by using the new search filters to see either Big Plays or just Scoring plays by player or type of play. You can then watch all the plays matching the search criteria in chronological order as they occurred in that game. This feature will launch in time for the regular season.

Referral Program
For those of you in the UK/Ireland, you will automatically earn an entry into the sweepstakes for the chance to attend the International Series Game at Wembley Stadium between the San Francisco 49ers and Jacksonville Jaguars on 27 October 2013 for purchasing a Season or Season Plus subscription. If your friends purchase a Season or Season Plus subscription using your personalized link, you can also earn up to 9 additional entries into the sweepstakes. You’ll be able to start referring your friends as soon as you purchase your 2013 Season or Season Plus subscription.

More to Come
There are still more updates to come within the next few weeks as we ramp up towards the 2013 season, stay tuned!

As always, we welcome your comments on the NFLUK forum & we will do our best to respond to any questions. That said, we can't respond to every post or fulfill every request, but rest assured we are reading. Thanks again and look forward to having you back for the 2013 season.

Delighted to hear on-demand NFLN programming will be available via the app. With no ability to rewind it has always been tricky to catch programmes like Total Access daily with them only airing in the night/early morning.

Any news on being able to download and watch offline? This would top it off.

Thanks for the update.

All good apart from no Apple TV app. I told myself that I would only subscribe if this was available, due to the great experience I am having this season with the MLB.tv app. Oh well, looks like I'm sticking with Sky next season.

First of all, thanks a lot for the info. Really appreciate it.

Now something that either I didn't get it right or indeed it is the way I first thought of.
I'm seriously considering buying NFL Game Pass for the first time. I live in Greece and there is simply no channel here to show live games or games at all so I have to go with the Game Pass.
What I noticed is that the packages available do not mention playoff games but only regular season games (and preseason ones). If they don't contain playoff games indeed, then it's rather disappointing.

This sounds good, whilst the lack of ATV support is disappointing it's easy enough to Airplay it from an iPad - this is now better with the on demand content on the App.

The one thing I would like is to be able to do other stuff on the ipad whilst the Gamepass app is running. The NHL equivalent allows.

If you live in Greece you will be able to get playoffs. He hasn't mentioned playoffs above as those accessing via UK IP addresses cannot get live playoffs due to black out rules. Last year if you had the regular season pass outside UK/Ireland you could upgrade to the offseason/playoff coverage for about 8 or 9 quid, I think, which was great value.

Hi charlesp, and thanks for your feedback.

Good thing to have access to nfl archived shows on tablet ! This is a nice feature.

Could you please confirm that, from France, we will have access to playoffs and Super Bowl LIVE as we did last year ?

Thanks

Hi Charles, and thanks for the post.

I have the Season Plus subscription and it is set to auto renew, my up to date credit card details are registered with my account. You say billing will be on or about August 1st, but can I assume that in terms of access to Gamepass that the transition will be 'seamless' and there will be no temporary loss of service as the subscriptions change from one to the next?, If for example my current sub expires 31st July and I am not billed for the new one until 3rd August?.

I know that's hardly the biggest deal in the world, but as a daily viewer I'd really prefer not to miss a few days.

Hi yangifa, we will not be answering any specific questions for territories other than UK and Ireland on these forums. As you can imagine, it would be too difficult to answer pricing/packaging inquiries for all territories on this forum. I recommend you continue to check http://www.NFL.com/GamePass for updates and/or contact customer support directly for information in your area.

Hi Steve_H, yes Season Plus subscribers from the 2012 season who are set for auto-renewal should not receive any interrupted service between July 31st and August 1st. Appreciate your continued support over the years, looking forward to another great season!
