Default Raiders QBs

Got to say stuff like this makes me worry my QB concerns were right.

I honestly think Flynn is over rated. Pryor is a great athlete but is not ready yet (if he ever will be!!!). With Wison and McGloin who knows.

Oh dear.

Development of Wilson will be interesting. If he doesn't show enough this season to the staff then we may look to make next years draft focus around securing a franchise QB with there being a good class of '14 coming up.

Beginning to regret getting rid of Carson Palmer by any chance?

Nope.

It's way too early to be worrying really. Especially considering this is all based on one single session.

I agree with you, too little has happened and its too early to make calls like that.

I do think that Matt Flynn is still somewhat unproven, and ultimately could prove to be over rated.

Maybe in October you will miss Palmer

Not worried at this stage either, still a long way to go yet for the new players to get in synch. With the PBS back in place and the running backs we have, I see us being more of a run first team anyway with whichever QB not asked to do too much, mostly checkdowns and the odd bomb to Streater.

I see Flynn starting, Pryor as backup (will say one thing for him, he may not be the finished article yet and may never be, but you can't question his attitude and work ethic), Wilson as 3rd QB, McGloin on practice squad.

Even if Flynn stinks it up a little, I will still not miss Palmer. He was too expensive and he was not leading Oakland to the post season either. You move on and take your lumps. Reggie made the right call.

I see Wilson as No 2 myself. I would love to see Pryor succeed. As you say, he has a first rate work ethic. You can't help but like him. I just doubt he will (as a QB anyway).

Would like to see Pryor given a shot based on his decent performance at the end of last season, but doubt it will happen based on current coverage of his prospects.

They will never regret getting rid of Palmer and saving themselves a fortune ready for next offseason.

Hi Guys
I think we should wait and see we have had some terrible seasons lately yes it's another "building season" but Carson was on his way down at the end of his career we have new young talent so who knows fingers crossed we may get a winning season and we haven't had one of those in a while
