Default Who is our best player ?

I say Troy Polamalu because he makes one hell of difference when he plays as we can see with yesterdays game.

Quintin Mikell or Trent Cole. Probably Trent Cole.

IMO Steelers best player is James Harrison.

edit: it seems as if I clicked on Pitt instead of Phil.

Defensivly I would say it is very close between Troy and Harrison, both have the abilitys to consistently make plays that can change/decide the outcome of the game. I would probably go for Troy as our best player as he has been playing at this level for longer. Although having Troy in the lineup would have made an impact I dont think you can blame our loss on sunday on him not playing.

Offensivley is a bit harder to choose, but will have to go for Ward, he is always consistent and reliable as a receiver and physical with it. Should hopefully hit 10,000 receiving yards milestone against the bengals.

ps - Hi John, nice of you to make the trip across state to come visit us

Troy on D, he's the one player that glues us together, he can do everything.

Ben on O, he STILL has his faults, but without some of those miraculous plays in the clutch we wouldn't have got anywhere near the Superbowls.

Definitely Troy, although I do think he's a little more at the forefront of people's thoughts after Sunday.....

One player who probably won't get mentioned and probably should is Jeff Reed (again, Sunday may have something to do with it!). Huge player and has come up good so many times for us. That game against the Jets in '05 is one of my favourite Steeler memories.

We've been fortunate that the development of Wally has all but put the Sweed drama to bed.

I think Sweed will need a fresh start somewhere else as he is low on confidence and the Steelers are low on confidence regarding him, so I don't see it getting better for him in the Burgh.

I don't see Sweed having any future with the Steelers - get him on waivers.

I wonder if the Titans might be interested in picking him up and reuniting him with Young?
