Default Scouting Combine

Notre Dame G Quenton Nelson managed 35 reps in the Bench Press drill. OSU C Billy Price was forced to cut his drill short after suffering an injury...

I can never find coverage of the bench press. All I find is interviews and chit chat. They cover the 40 from start to finish, why not the bench?!

Quentin Nelson's stock will go up a notch again. I haven't watched more than the odd highlight here and there tbh, but I've heard people say he's a bigger, nastier, stronger Zack Martin......!

Saquon Barkley measured in at 6'0 and 233lbs. Didn't realise he was that big tbh...

He said he played between 228-232 during the season too, so it's not like he bulked up. Be interesting what he runs in the 40/agility drills.

Put up 29 reps on the Bench Press!

Athletically he's the real deal!

I really hope he doesn't end up with the Giants.

Will Hernandez did 37 reps. For the first 30 it looked like he was bench pressing a feather pillow!

aargh, I nearly forgot this part of the forum still existed, I was so used in recent weeks to going to the main part of the forum for the draft thread!

was sitting here this morning wondering why no one had an interest in the combine

On the bench reps, I see Nick Chubb did 29 as well.
I would be semi confident of doing 1. (and that is rounded up)

14 bench press for Orlando Brown. That's got to be a worry.

Watching it back though his arms look short, and it's tough to say he locked out on a few of them.

Not that I'd tell him to his face.

Quite a few big backs in this draft, 220lbs+, I expect a few will lift well. Chubb, like Mick said, did well. Guice however, 15 reps. 1 better than someone though.......

A worry, but he is 6'8 and has 35" arms. Unlike Barkley he's got a long way to lift it!

Still, 14 shows a lack of weight room strength. I think Nelson has 35" arms too and he doubled that total and then some.
