The Bills have released Marcus Stroud.

He's just been getting slower and slower over the last two years, and really didn't fit with the scheme last year.

I'm not surprised to be honest. Still I always liked him.

Thought it would happen during last seasons training camp.

Marcus can fell good about the impact he had after poeple calling him washed up. Sure he can still be a good player in a DT rotation on a 4-3 team. A return to Jacksonville would make a lot of sense for him.

Bob Sanders visiting today. Low risk high reward signing if we can sign him. Looks like Donte Whitner is all but finished in upstate NY.

Hopefully that will help us a bit and get Fitz a bit of cohesion with his WRs

So the players are trying to get the NFL to reduce off season work outs. So the players hold their own makes sense to me. It's publicity surely. But removing the cynical part of my brain i love the way Fitzpatrick handles the first team QB role.

Williams gets his big payday from Bills
By Jason La Canfora |
Published: August 26th, 2011 | Tags: Kyle Williams, Buffalo Bills
Defensive lineman Kyle Williams and the Buffalo Bills have agreed upon a new six-year, $39 million deal that includes $17 million guaranteed, according to a league source.

The contract marks the third new deal in the past five years for Williams, one of the league’s premier interior lineman. He had two years left on his previous deal.

Williams has been a starter since his rookie season in 2006, when the Bills drafted him in the fifth round out of LSU.
It's not often this front office does the right thing but kudos. Kyle is by far Buffalo's best player it's great to get him locked up.
