Mainz spoil the party. Paderborn shot themselves in the foot by giving away a penalty with seconds remaining.

Technically this falls under European Football.
My local team in a Europa League match (Dundalk FC, Ireland) were fined 18,000 euro during the week because fans of one of our supporter groups waved a Palestine flag during the game despite being warned by Uefa delegates and Club officials that we would be heavily sanctioned by UEFA. We are currently top of the League Of Ireland and if we win the league, we will win approximately 100,000 euro. So instantly 20% of that prize fund will be gone. Just wondering what people think about all this because it's certainly causing a rift in our club at the moment.

I think this sums it up. I don't know the reasoning for the Palestinian flag waving, but if the club/supporters knew about it, then not much of a case to complain really. Fines won't be proportionate, although maybe that's something they should look at.

The night must now belong to Cosmin Moti, Ludogoret's centre back having to go in goal for their penalty shoot out against Steau and saving two pens to send his team through, crazy scenes

Arsenal can count themselves very fortunate

Didn't they face CSKA in recent years too? and Schalke faced Chelsea, sure I've seen that pairing before before. Barca/Ajax and Dortmund/Arsenal as well.
