Well. Last night was awful. Some of the worst football I've seen the Saints play in a while. Credit to TB for their stops against the run and Ingram though.
Brees looked off, we are really missing Jimmy, the D grew into the game but we couldn't convert when we forced those two fumbles. Missing a 42 yard and a XP is criminal in my opinion, especially in a dome.
Too many penalties for silly unnecessary things, TB also did this so we got 1st downs and field position. Now we are on Sky against the Panthers next week so it can be a Cam Newton love in.
Really looking forward to going out to see the Falcons game now............
Anyway, things can only get better right?

I love this team, and it breaks my heart to say this, but I think we are witnessing the downward spiral. Team is just not that good anymore. I hope I'm wrong but after last season and the first 2 games of this season it really doesn't look good

Default Brees

So things could get worse. Brees has a shoulder injury. No one seems to know how many games he will be out for. "Several" is the word doing the rounds.
If you watch gamepass you might have seen the Verizon ads with McCown in, loads of twitter jokes doing the rounds now. So errr lets go D!

Thursday night will be a tester for me, I'll definitely stay up for it, but if the cowboys thread
is anything to go by, I will probably be my own again!

Expecting Kikaha to have a big game, he's been in and around the QB a fair bit
up until Sunday, I've got a feeling that they were holding him back for Thursday.
I hope so anyway!

Nice first half. Shame we couldn't score at the end.

Loved the blocked punt. What a moment. So good to see Steve was there to see that.

Was at the Falcons game, what an atmosphere that was. It was insane. Loved it so much. The place went absolutely mental after the blocked punt. Nice touch by the organization to give out free mini towel things (Think steelers terrible towels) got myself a couple as there were spare seats behind and in front of me.
Best we have played all season, especially on D, at first it looked like they would score every drive but those turnovers when the Falcons were in the red zone meant so much. Cam Jordan played so well, must have been me wearing my White #94 Jordan jersey that spurred him on . 3 sacks and a FF.
Brees was accurate as ever and Watson is showing we don't need Jimmy!
The run game still needs work, Ingram wasn't at his best despite scoring twice.
You don't realise the amount of impact the crowd has watching it on tv, it was so loud that Ryan and the centre just couldn't hear. Pass rush was so crucial also. All in all fantastic trip and result. Went to Tulane aswell, they got hammered 42-7 by Houston, nice trip though. Will go back again soon hopefully, LSU game next time with a Saints one 100%.

Essay over, WhoDat!!!

You lucky git, I was up through the night watching the Falcons game, I haven't been
as pessimistic about the Saints in a game for about 10 years!
I hear the roof almost came off when the punt was blocked.

haha thanks. I was lucky. I went in to the game with little to no expectations but was pleasantly surprised.
It was so loud, it was electric. I was cheering for a good couple of minutes. The fact that Gleason was there too made it even better. His tweet after was classic.
