Default Potential Draft Sleepers

Over the next few months we are all going to be hearing a lot about the draft and speculating over our teams needs and who they should pick, particularly teams who didnt make the play-offs this year.. Of course we'll be bombarded by the same names over and over as to who will be picked in the 1st round etc. but does anyone have any predictions of guys with talent or potential but without the big-name who may go late in the draft but could make a big impact?

Theres always a few of these players so I wondered if anyone wants to throw out some predictions or guys to watch out for? After all, Tom Brady was 199th pick... who knows who could be lurking in those lower round picks.....

I would guess that over the next few months just about every player eligible for drafting will get a mention on some fan board as a potential sleeper.

Mine last year was Freddie Barnes, WR, Bowling Green,
He went undrafted, signed by the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent and was cut before the season.

So i ain't making any predictions this year

Greg Romeus, was considered 1st round talent before the start of the season, will probably fall to the 3rd/4th round

Romeus looks like a good player, I'll keep an eye out for where he ends up!

NFL Network had a bit of a feature in the off-season on NFL.com about players fighting to win a roster spot, one of the guys featured was undrafted rookie LeGarrette Blount who at the time was trying to earn a spot on the Chargers roster, it showed the guys background and how tough it is for undrafted and fringe players to break into the NFL. Nice to see him come good in Tampa Bay this year!

He went to camp with New England and was a popular guy based upon PFW reports, but didn't make the cut.

I hope Romeus does fall that far, cos I think we could use him

I wanted Blount last year instead of Deaderick. Still think we'd be better off, despite Deaderick being okay.

Austin Pettis- pretty well known, but has the potential to be a very good man in the slot.

And if we hadn't taken Deaderick, we'd have been screwed in several games with no-one to play LDE.

Wrong forum by the way. Oh, and Clint Boling FTW.

Best Guard prospect in the entire class.
