If Hass starts, has an error free game.........and our wide outs catch every ball thrown to them......if we get some sort of running game going like in the 2nd half of the Rams game......if our def can step it up again and cover the Saints multiple down field threats.....AND if the 12th man can roar like they've never roared before......... then maybe, just maybe we can keep the score to within 2 TDs!!!!

Heart says 21-17 Saints
Head says 41-7 Saints

:P

Don't think it's going to happen, but hope the Hawks win, just to prove a point.

Looking forward to this one. 10 o'clock on a saturday night is a great time for a playoof game.

Im just hoping the outcome stays the same as it was a few weeks ago. Lets hope we get back into our playoff mode from last season and that we bring the wood!

Certainly I'd rather be in Seattle than Philly but this game Is not a gimme.
Most sensible post yet. The amount of people writing the Hawks off on these boards purely based on their record is staggering. QWest is a very hard place to play in and the atmosphere is gonna be very hostile to the Saints, should be an interesting game and it's certainly gonna be no gimme.

Seattle is no easy place to go and having had a look at the the weather its cold and wet on saturday. Plus the Saints have never won a road playoff game (Super Bowl was at a neutral site)

If the Seahawks can pressure Brees into throwing a pick or two and avoid turnovers themselves then that could keep the game close. Return skills of Leon Washington could well have an impact too.

Logic states that the Saints should win this but when the playoffs come around you can throw logic out the window!

Could be closer than many think first half. But I fancy Payton to call it right and put the pressure on second half, Brees putting in a clinical 4th quarter.

Saints 34 - 17 Seahawks

The trick to this game for the Seahawks will be turnovers and making returns a factor. In the 2 games this season that the Saints lost to bad teams they gave up 5 touchdowns to opposing defenses, 3 off interceptions, 2 off fumbles. If the Seahawks can force these turnovers while not committing them, they should win. New Orleans lost to Arizona so anything's possible. In the 2 games that NO lost to bad teams they committed 8 turnovers while only forcing 1. Seattle needs to watch a lot of tape from the Arizona-New Orleans and Cleveland-New Orleans games. I think Pete Carroll will have them prepared well for this one and have a feeling the Seahawks will win. As always, making Leon Washington a factor is important.
