This is a great idea, but I couldn't be involved in running one because my location isn't fixed at the moment.

Hope it's successful!

Join one wherever you are. Or more than one if you often relocate.

List of current FB Group Pages:
NFLUK FAN CLUB WEST HERTFORDSHIRE (http://facebook.com/groups/NFLUKFANCLUBWESTHERTS)
NFLUK FAN CLUB S/E SCOTLAND (https://www.facebook.com/groups/NFLSEScotland)
NFLUK FAN CLUB SURREY(www.facebook.com/groups/NFLukFanClubSurrey/)

Coming in the next few days:
NFLUK FAN CLUB N/E SCOTLAND
NFLUK FAN CLUB WEST SUSSEX
NFLUK FAN CLUB ESSEX (TO BE DEFINED BY SMALLER REGION POSSIBLY)
NFLUK FAN CLUB BIRMINGHAM

If you are in these areas, go and join up, meet new people in your area, and share your interest in the sport...and get new people involved.

And just to note, these FB group pages are not in anyway meant to take away from the forum. Most of us here use FB and so is a good way to get in and keep in contact with people who are in our regions.
The forum site is the mothership. We all come back here to get the info we need and then we are able to disseminate it to the group pages.

How large an area do you want to emcompass?
THe idea is that a region shouldn't really take more than 30mins (40mins max) for people to be able to meet for a drink or bbq, etc...
If you can define a central location (city or part of a county for example), you could start one up.

You know I've always wanted to pop down to see them. Just never got round to it before.

Superb idea. Would be happy to muck in with helping anything Edinburgh or Glasgow based (Central Scotland). What area is covered by the SE Scotland one?

That's a good question. If you go to the Fb link, and ask Graham Roberts (ham89 i think is his forum name?) he'll be able to tell you.
