Actually, it's not at all difficult and once people join it will pretty much run itself. It just needs a person to create the fb group and accept people who want to join.

List of current FB Group Pages:
NFLUK FAN CLUB WEST HERTFORDSHIRE (http://facebook.com/groups/NFLUKFANCLUBWESTHERTS)
NFLUK FAN CLUB S/E SCOTLAND (https://www.facebook.com/groups/NFLSEScotland)
NFLUK FAN CLUB SURREY(www.facebook.com/groups/NFLukFanClubSurrey/)
NFLUK FAN CLUB WEST SUSSEX(https://www.facebook.com/groups/222368427900630)

Coming in the next few days:
NFLUK FAN CLUB N/E SCOTLAND
NFLUK FAN CLUB ESSEX (TO BE DEFINED BY SMALLER REGION POSSIBLY)
NFLUK FAN CLUB BIRMINGHAM

If you are in these areas, go and join up, meet new people in your area, and share your interest in the sport...and get new people involved.

And just to note, these FB group pages are not in anyway meant to take away from the forum. Most of us here use FB and so is a good way to get in and keep in contact with people who are in our regions.
The forum site is the mothership. We all come back here to get the info we need and then we are able to disseminate it to the group pages.

I like the idea, it would be nice to have someone else to talk to about NFL apart from my dad and sister. I'm not on facebook though.

Good point. the is all early dayss. i would envision that mirror groups would also be set up here as that is a forum option. could even be launched out to twitter .
If there is a group for your area on fb then i am sure you could be put into contact with th right people.
Glad you have a interest and thanks for raising that issue.

If you don't mind setting up a group page on fb, I'll send you a cover pic for it.
Call the region what you wish, and I'll add it to the list.
