What an amazing week! First the free agents signings that the Bucs made and now the news that Dwight is staying in Orlando.

Some people are wondering why he hasn't just signed an extension now but I believe the Magic will make some moves in the next off season that will please him and the fans and he will sign it then.

Blazers doing what they should have done ages ago: getting rid of Oden

With Wallace and Camby traded, so begins the rebuild.

It's this ownership angle that put me off Portland, too much interference from Paul Allen

So who does everyone follow here then? I am a Magic fan but also watch the Celtics as much as i can. SO glad Howard is staying in Orlando for now although we should still seek a trade in the near future.

Officially, the Jazz, but am new to this game so am reserving the right to change if another team grabs me.

But yes, I'm a Jazz fan. Hoping that a proper 82 game season and perhaps nba.tv next season will solidify it

If not I can see him leaving. One minute he loves Orlando, the next he wants a big market team. It must be hard for him but it doesn't instill me with confidence that he is committed to the club.

Hopefully we can somehow bring D Will to Orlando now?!
The problem the Magic have in trying to get other big name players to surround Dwight with is they don't have any assets other than Dwight. I mean seriously they'd have to give away most of the starters and draft picks just to attract a B level star.

People know what Turk is after his stint in Phoenix, Anderson is a product of that system (lots of open shots on the outside as everyone crowds Dwight - in fact you could say that of most of the roster) and can't play D for his life, Nelson is a slightly above average guard IMHO, Redick is just not very good, J Rich I do like but he's hardly a superstar. The rest are journeymen at best.

If Dwight were to be traded at least they could get some nice pieces and probably some draft picks too so the more I think about it I say if the kid wants to leave (and I think he will one way or the other next season) trade him rather than let him walk like Cleveland did with LeBron or like the 90s Magic did with Shaq. I think this stubborness is going to come back to bite them in the painful area all told.

You're cruising just at the right time. Playoffs start next week don't they?
