Of our 7 picks only 2 are still on the roster. Karl Joseph who we picked at #14 and De'Andre Washington, our 5th rounder. We're still in the market for players in the Secondary and at Running Back as neither player is much more than roster filling.

This has been more interesting than I expected Richard. When laid out as you've done it, it really isn't that hard to see why we've done nothing for the last 15 years.

Jalen Mills at pick #233 probably needs a mention?

You do tend to notice which teams don't miss on too many picks, or which teams do well with picks outside the premium ones. You can trace teams recent successes back through previous Drafts. It's a bit 'chicken or the egg' in terms of success and good draft classes though, obviously they've had good draft classes if they've been successful if you get what I mean. Some teams string together 3 good Draft classes and reap the rewards as a result. If can find 2 or 3 long term starters in back to back Draft's you're in business.

The Seahawks Draft's of '10, '11 and '12 set them up for back to back SB visits in '13 and '14. They haven't had that level of success in recent Draft's though.

and in a league where teams are desperately paying pass rushers the Patriots draft guys use them on there cheap rookie deals then move on(Jones/Flowers) and either draft new guys or bring in cheap vets.

Very hard to start calling players 'notable' really from recent drafts, especially mid-late round guys who haven't had much playing time yet.

Not many 'misses' in this top 10, none in the top 8 really. Jack Conklin had a wobbly 2018 coming off ACL surgery is suppose. Leonard Floyd needs to step up too or he'll be heading the way of Eli Apple.

The Cowboys hit a home run in this one. Their current starting QB at the end of rd 4, an All-Pro RB at 4th overall, a potential superstar LB in the 2nd, and a some supporting cast too. They got starters, rotational guys and special teamers in this one. Charles Tapper (#101) was the only mistake they made.
light draft for the Patriots as another 2 picks where "stolen" by the league and we wasted our 2nd round pick on Cyrus Jones but the 2nd rounder we got from the Cardinals for Chandler Jones which we eventually made into Joe Thuney and Malcolm Mitchell who played big roles in our super bowl run.

This year was a rarity in that the Dolphins had a half decent draft although it took Laremy Tunsil, a gasmask and a disgruntled individual with a photo

Rd1(13) - Laremy Tunsil
Rd2 (38) - Xavien Howard
Rd3 (73) - Kenyan Drake
Rd6 (186) - Jakeem Grant

Possibly Miami's best draft in 20 years although thats conveniently forgetting trading up to get Leonte Caroo in the 3rd, who amounted to less than nothing

Dak did good for me in terms of pre-draft evaluations. He was my top QB that year (which means he would have been #1 overall if I was in charge of the Rams!) and was drafted into a great situation and won OROY!

Not the worst Jets Draft by any means, just a shame about that Hackenberg pick...

9 picks for us that year and 5 are already no longer on the team. To be fair we did have at least 2 very late picks though. Gareon Conley looks like a keeper but this may be a make or break year after a promising start. The rest are just filling up the roster.

Just once, I'd have liked for us to do something right on Draft Day.

Sigh.....

It was a very underwhelming Raiders Draft when you look back on it. Missing on Obi Melifonwu in the 2nd really hurt you. You're right though, 4 7th rounders probably aren't going to amount to much.

Maybe Mayock will finally deliver for you.
