Pretty much now or never for him, but we've probably passed that point already. 11 tackles and no sacks in 2 seasons basically, and no encouraging signs that he can get his off field issues under control either. I'm guessing his addictions compound his mental fragility too.

The only glimmer of hope he has is the Cowboys are odds-on for the play-offs, so he could be lucky enough to see the field before the season is out....if the league permits it.

99.9% likely he's a bust though.

Do you get the feeling JJ has had his fingers burnt with Gregory? staff seemed determined to find a bargain on the D line rather than draft again. No harm in trying out new guys but it didnt really work last season in terms of sacks/pressures?

Just hope they take a pass rusher at 28 this year because history shows JJ & Co. don't exactly excel with picks outside round 1.

Gregory and Lawrence haven't worked out so far, and there are plenty more edge rushers they've drafted that haven't had an impact. It's 10+ years since they drafted Demarcus Ware (and Anthony Spencer), a premium pass rusher who lived up to expectations.

David Irving facing a 4 game suspension then.

So that's now Irving, Gregory (multiple times), Lawrence and Greg Hardy that have failed drugs tests in recent years. What a farce! That's not mention repeat offender Rolando McClain too!

Jerry has no right to talk about what a great structure they have in place for guys with 'off field issues' ever again.

Calmed down a little on this stance now but still, it's so frustrating.

Feel the pain mate, if it wasnt a position of need it might not be so bad but we need the D line strong and players are letting the team down what is frustrating is Jerry and office sticking by these losers-if i were gm? sling ya hook! bye Gregory for a start, and anyone else given more than one chance.I dont recall there being such a problem a few yrs back? might not have had the likes of Ware but with guys like Nick Hayden at least you had guys giving it some without the probs! despair...just waiting for bad news about Taco....

Lookin at some stats today, no point in asking the players name cos most will know the answer, but only ONE Cowboy has registered more than 15 sacks a season EVER TWICE. Next on the list is 77 Jim Jeffcoat one of my fav Boys
