We don't need another 3 point shooter, we already have miller, jones, wade and lebron all capable of shooting threes. We need a center.

Agreed. I think in Bibby though theyre looking for more of a contribution off the bench. I think centre is fine. Got a three headed monster with Z Anthony and Dampier. Anthony and Dampier can defend, Zydrunas can shoot but is a lousy defender. I have no clue why he hasnt played the last few games, as he is a pretty accurate shooter.

They really need to capitalize as they have a nice home stretch to end the regular season.

Good win for the Magic last night. A bit of deja vu for the Heat!
I think they were up by 20+ points at one point.

I have never seen a team choke like that. This game looked over in the first quarter. To lead by 24 and lose is disgraceful. They nearly lost the last time they played the magic but barely scraped a win. The same thing happened Against the jazz earlier in the season. Ive never seem a team go on a 40-9 run.

Spurs up next I'm not gonna either bother watching it

They were 15 up against the Knicks too but folded in the 4th. Not as severe as a 40-9 run but the same scenario.

The game against the Spurs is on espn so I'll be watching. So is Bulls Magic so that should be another good game.

Question for you basketball gurus...

What is the reason for NBA being 4 12 minute quarters with a 24 second shot clock, and college basketball being 2 20 minute halves with a 35 second shot clock?

Not sure exactly why... but the rules do vary slightly from league to league around the world. The three point line is also further away in the NBA, and because of the longer game length, players need 6 fouls instead of five to foul out. In our Cornish league, we play four 10 minute quarters (which is different again), with 5 fouls. I assume that is in line with the FIBA rules.

Thanks for that. I wasn't sure if it was to do with the tempo of the game or something?!

Am I being blind? According to NBA's website, the Knicks game is on ESPN. I've triple checked the tv guide on Sky but can't find it! Might just record all the college basket ball and hope that the schedule is wrong!
