The Redknapp story seems to be about players gambling on football matches they played in.No details on which team and how far back.

Either they are keeping something major for Sunday or once Big Sam went they ran out of real steam.

It may only have been Hull but a crucial result for Chelsea today none the less.

Liverpool might be able to mount a title challenge thanks to the talents of Klopp.

a super goal by Payet but surely that was a pen when Adrian pulled the fella back (ignoring the knee just before that.)

and Everton just seem stuck going backwards with another awful result.

Payet goal was helped by some very poor defending. I've seen better.

The sky guys where talking it up like it was george best at his best but the defenders kept falling over and he then scuf's it into the other corner.think west ham are still in trouble if they are struggling to draw with boro at home.

c'mon you spurs.great win but should have been 3 but for Lamela's weak penalty.City are going to find out teams that like to press(spurs/liverpool) are going to like playing against what Pep is preaching,no kevin for city and boy they missed him.

damn, arsenal left it really late. never looked like scoring, til a fortuitous koscielny handled/bundled it in in the last seconds.

you know at the end of the season those 2 points will get arsenal into the top 4 or something.Awful not to dis-allow that goal for either off-side or just the hand ball.

Stopping the rot was the main aim but no-one is under an illusion everything is rosy again. Can understand the attempt at playing Antonio upfront but why Bilic persists with Tore is anyone's guess, he's probably the worst of his summer signings and that's saying something.

Payet's goal was top class - any goal like that often leads to suggestions the defending wasn't great but it is what it is, you could say that about any mazy run -type goal.

Didn't think Adrian's shirt pull was a penalty (although it understandably ran the risk of being given) as it didn't seem to impede the bloke. Any touch, or even grab, of a shirt is only supposed to be a foul if the guy is being impeded, having his run or movement stalled etc.

----

Glad Bilic went back to a solid midfield three though to try and snuff out some defensive lapses, but I reckon it's probably the time to look into bringing Sakho back into the team if we can get his heady and body right again. This time last year we started to play some really good pressing football with Sakho and Valencia snapping at the heels of defenders, and it left loads of space for the attacking mids too.
