It was absolutely awesome, incredibly high paced and free scoring.

Hopefully Lakers - Hornets will be of a similar standard tonight. Kobe vs Chris Paul, should be a great game.

Houston Rockets get #22 in row, downing the Lakers.

They really are playing amazingly as of now.

Damn Looks like they are going to be for real. But can TMacs curse get him again or will he finally get past the 1st round?

Lets not forget though they beat a Laker team without Gasol and Bynum. You can't take this as a measure of how good they are against this sort of competition. T-Mac was taken out by Kobe and slighty Radmanovic and once that happens rarely will you see Alston step up his game like he did. There a great Defensive team, but Suns, the Mavericks, the Lakers, or the Warriors in the 1st Round any possible opponent I can't possibly see the Rockets have any firepower to advance past the 1st round

No one wants to give them credit do they. We could easily say the rockets have beaten people without Yao... So i think the way people keep saying oh this guy wasnt playing when they played them and so forth is just not right. The rockets have more firepower than they have ever had in the last few years.
Rafer alston has stepped up this season and become a solid starter, TMac is producing as need. Battier will get his job done and Scola has been fantastic. Also Bo Jackson (great aquisition), Head, Landry are all coming off the bench and scoring well. And lets not forget dikembe and the finger wag. So the rockets have all the parts to take the team deep into the playoffs.

I would give credit if players like Gasol and Bynum were playing but without them you barely beat a injury plagued Lakers team it took a Alston career night to do so. It takes a great defender ala Stephen Jackson to take T-Mac out of the equation and if your team has more then Kobe Bryant shooting the ball in isolations then you can't hang with a team in a 7 game series. All those guys you listed defintely won't make a difference Alston will never shoot the ball like that again.

You guys do play great defense but if T-Mac is taken out of his game then you don't have enough firepower to hang with the Mavs, Warriors, Suns or Lakers in the 1st round. It's a fact of life

The lakers are no different really, without kobe they get nowhere. But the reason the rockets are doing so well is because they dont rely on mcgrady, they've been playing as a team, hence they are doing so well. Agreed without mcgrady things get a tougher but i still think you don't give them enough credit, if 22 wins is so easy why arent other teams doing it
