Default Even though we lost.......there are some positives.

Let's face it- we gift wrapped this game and handed it to the Skins with a nice little bow on top. But there are some positives to come out of this game. For starters, many people were saying that Miles Austin was just a flash in the pan, that last year was some sort of fluke and that he wouldn't have as good a season this time around.

From what these eyes witnessed last Sunday night, Miles has truely developed into a premier WR in this league. He was unstoppable, running great routes and catching everthing thrown his way. Another good thing to come out of this game was Dez Bryant. He had 8 catches which ties a Cowboys team record for a rookie WR playing in his first regular season game. Once Dez has gotten a few more games under his belt and has acclimatized to the NFL, he and Miles will combine for what just might be the most feared WR duo in the league. Imagine two devastating WR's along side Jason Witten at the TE, and backed up by the likes of Roy Williams, Marty B, Sam Hurd and Kevin Ogletree. You get the picture.

One more good thing is the defense. No need to mention DeMarcus Ware or Anthony Spencer- we all know about them. But the defense played well as a group all night, limiting the Skins offense to a mere 6 points on two FG.

Of course, our O-line continues to be our biggest weakness. We need Kosier and Columbo to get healthy fast. And then we need to get rid of......what's his face....you know, the guy who was the most penalized player in the league last season. Almost any backup O-lineman would be better than him.

But it's not all bad in Big D. We should be able to win our next game at home against the Bears. Then we'll go from there.

I echo your comments on Austin, I think Sunday proved he is a premier receiver in this league. His route running is as good as I have ever seen and he rarely drops a ball.

We should bag a win this weekend and as you say hopefully go from there.

Our D is looking good but our offence needs to step up. All these weapons and we still cannot get it into the endzone. That's my biggest worry.

A great looking team on paper (excluding the O-line injuries).......so last Sunday night was a big disappointment. Offence seem to have no confidence.

The positives were the outstanding Miles Austin and a great D performance.

First night nerves? Lets hope so.
