I've toyed with the idea myself, but I reckon next year for me is a non goer. Great idea and would be interested in seeing how it develops.

For the hotel I have been looking at the Crowne Plaza Jacksonville Riverfront.

http://www.cpjacksonville.com/

It is in the region of £70 per night and is on the riverfront in downtown Jacksonville, only 3 miles from the stadium by road (the is also a river taxi option to travel to the stadium).

The hotel is on the opposite bank of the river to the stadium and directly opposite "the landing" (half a mile by road) with its bars, places to eat and shops. http://www.jacksonvillelanding.com/

The hotel has the following facilities:

Bar.
Restaurant.
Free Wi-Fi (In rooms and & areas).
Outdoor Swimming pool.
Air-conditioning.
Onsite parking (surcharge) .
24 hour front desk.
Serves breakfast (surcharge £3 per breakfast).
Room service available.

We won't know the 2014 schedule until mid-April when the NFL releases them, so we won't know any more about which game to target until then.

Lots of good economic news for us in the UK, such as the IMF growth predictions being increases, the CBI reporting big increases in British manufacturing orders and the fall in unemployment to 7.1%.

All this means that the pound is strengthening against the dollar:

So the perfect time for the Union Jax to visit Jacksonville while rates are favorable!

I will make the trip dependent on dates purely down to work. I'll keep checking and stay up to date with the latest news

Ah yes, that money thing does get in the way doesn't it? It'll be the London game for most of us too!
