Hunt ball on the drift, out to 80/1 with Stan James, Long run 16/1, a very open National this year, sure something's going to get hammered in the betting within the next hour.

Main hope is on Prince De Beauchene, got him at 28/1 earlier

Also have money e/w on Walkon at 50/1 and Alvarado at 33/1, and a bit on Tidal Bay to win at 22/1

the only day i really bet on and i'm already ahead

i did a quidco offer with Paddy Power, £7.50 cashback on a £10 bet and then £20 worth of free bets.

and i won £20 for picking the 2nd place in the 3:25.

i have money on 5 horses (they pay on 5 places) my main hope is the Dude.

also have a bit on Triolo, Big Shu, Chance Du Roy and One in a Milan.

Boom! Disappointed Big Shu went so early but had my other two going well for ages and PDR ran the perfect race.

I had Pineau de Re, backed it a couple of weeks back so got it at 40/1. Only 2.50 e/w, but returned 130 quid

Bad luck with Chance du Roy, goodkarma. Hate to rub it in, but I backed it through Bet Victor who were paying 6 places, so I got 18 quid back from the 6th place finish from the same stake as above.

Have to say I'm a bit disappointed with what happened to Across the Bay, thought i was looking good forsome e/w on him but double 7 doing it covered my stakes plus a small bit so not too bad.

Was at Aintree yesterday and it seemed to be like nobody had backed the winner. Very little cheering and the bookies didn't have many people picking up winnings, especially compared to a lot of the other races. I owe a friend a beer for tipping me Court Minstrel in the 5.15 which won at 20/1, if only I'd lumped more on it!
