As a Derby fan I've got to say I'm disappointed with the way we've started the season. Obviously a good win at Deepdale tonight (first win in 90 mins under Paul Jewell :|) is a big boost but we've been absolutely dire for most of our first 3 league games. Second half against Bristol is the only positive really but aside from that we've looked disjointed.

Even so, I think we still have a shout of going straight back up (call me an optimist) cause there've been a few good individual performances that I think we can build on. Kris Commons has started terrificly and Addison had a great game against Preston tonight. I only hope we can start turning in better team performances and play with the same spirit that we did 2 seasons

Come on. I thought that there would be more interest in this thread. Let's hear from you Wolves fans whose team has again scaled the heights and reached their preordained position in life: BELOW BIRMINGHAM ! ;D

Well, ive liked what ive seen of The Wolves so far (in the league anyway) and think that we have a real threatening forward line and a very hard working midfield as well as an outatanding keeper. We tore Ipswich apart and Iwelumo just looks superb up front with Ebanks-Blake, usual suspect defense especially now with the outstanding Elikobi out for a few weeks. Shite result tonight though at Rotherham, but nobody really gives a twidly over that anyway.

Shut up Dingle! ;D

A so so start for the super saddlers so far this season. Jabo ibhere looks good up front so far and so did ricketts till he got bleeding suspended! I can well seen phillips doing a goodman and coming to us eventually!

Shame about selling scott dann and dan fox to Coventry next year for a relative pittance, 2 of the best young prospects to come out of the club this century.

This season is 10 years of being a season ticket holder in the football league having seen 3 promotions 3 relegation's and 2 desperate survivals, I will quite happily settle for a year in mid table this season!

The Midlands seem to rule this thread 8)

I had a thoroughly enjoyable day out at the Molineaux yesterday, courtesy of my Bro's season ticket (he's on his hols).

Quite impressed with them, always going to let a few in, but pretty exciting going forward.

I'm a villa fan by the way, so good luck to them for this afternoon.

Will be off to see them next against Sunderland later on this month.

Perry bar is in between Walsall and the middle of Birmingham about 10-15 minutes away. And im sure they would let 108 year old people in for free but not people 90 years younger than that

Wellens still think he's on a par with Maradona? Always tries hard when he plays against Blackpool but he cant be bothered if he's not in the mood. Good player when he can be arsed trying though.
